Sermon Series: Glory Days - Part 1 "What Was I Thinking?"

In Bruce Springsteen's hit song, "Glory Days," the lyrics of the chorus go like this: "Glory days well they'll pass you by, glory days in the wink of a young girl's eye, glory days, glory days."  His point is that human fame, or glory, is fleeting.  I agree and will take it one step further.  Trying to achieve glory for ourselves is not only a fleeting endeavor, it is misplaced.  It is a fool's errand.  Instead, everything we say, everything we do, and everything we think should in some way seek to glorify the Lord.  We'll talk about how to do that during the next three weeks.  This week: "What Was I Thinking?"
