Jesus is often painted as a gentle, meek man who preached love, communion, and fellowship. Those things are certainly true, but they don't paint the full picture. Jesus' love came from strength and he rebelled against nearly every political, religious, and social conviction of His day. He understood what we must understand: only in rebellion can we submit.
